DC3-PTCL The Diagnosis, Classification and Clinical Care of Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma
Knowledge of cutting-edge research is vital to the practicing pathologist’s ability to improve patient outcomes. To help pathologists stay up-to-date on the latest discoveries, the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) has developed an innovative education curriculum to address educational gaps in the diagnosis, classification and management of peripheral T‐cell Lymphoma (PTCL), a type of cancer that presents a particular clinical challenge.
SH President's Message Winter 2013 – Spring 2014

As of the Business Meeting on Sunday, March 2nd, the SH has a new slate of officers: Sherrie Perkins, President; Dan Arber, Vice-President-President Elect; and Magdalena Czader, Secretary – Treasurer. Kojo Elenitoba-Johnson is the new EXCO member-at-large and Leticia Quintanilla-Fend will continue for another four years as the European Association for Haematopathology (EAHP) representative to the SH.
Founders Award Honors Berard & Dorfman
We are pleased to announce that SH will begin accepting nominations for The Berard-Dorfman Founders Award. The award was established in 2013 to commemorate Drs. Costan W. Berard, and Ronald F. Dorfman, who co-founded the Society for Hematopathology (SH) in 1981.
Potential nominees would include:
- Young Investigator: A young investigator (10 years or less since fellowship training) demonstrating excellence in research (basic or translational) based on a body of work or best paper.

The 17th EAHP meeting will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from 17 to 22 October 2014.
